Objective:

Working as a freelance illustrator and animator has given me a broad range of skills which would make me a valuable asset on your project.  As a freelance artist I learned how to prioritize tasks, find creative solutions, and work on multiple projects simultaneously.  While as a production assistant I have learned how to work with many different personalities, take direction and keep focus on the end goal of creating the best product possible in a timely fashion.  

Achievements

-       Directed an animated short which screened at the 2008 Cannes Film Festival in the American Pavilion.

-       Dean’s List Fall 2005, Fall 2006 & Spring 2007.

-       Awarded a Certificate of Alumni Accomplishment by St. Louis Community College in 2008.

Lead Animator – Win the Jamm Hollywood                                                                                   May 2011 - Present

  • Managed animation team: gave direction, prepared and distributed animation assets, interviewed and hired animators, created and maintained production schedules, gave assistance and support to team members to ensure quality and timely completion of goals.
  • Designed more than 20 characters for the TV series “Win the Jamm Hollywood”.
  • Created storyboards and animation using digital and traditional techniques.
  • Created and maintained a database of animation and assets.
  • Met regularly with Executive Producer to discuss production goals, workflow and progress. Effectively communicated those goals to the rest of the animation team.    

Lead Illustrator – Gozer Games, LLC                                                                                            Nov. 2010 – Present

  • Created over 100 unique illustrations for the card games “Zombie Ninja Pirates” and “Vampire Werewolf Fairies” on a limited 3 month production schedule.
  • Clearly and humorously depicted abstract concepts such as “Witch Trial” and “Internal Conflict” in a single image.
  • Hired on as lead illustrator after only two projects due to my reliability, professionalism and creativity.

  • Created animation, illustrations and concept art for a variety of media including film, comic books, games, and books.
  • Found creative solutions to clients’ changing needs and adapted work flow accordingly.
  • Prioritized multiple tasks across concurrent projects to maintain a high level of quality and punctuality.
  • Created and maintained production schedules.  Prepared and oversaw delivery of assets to client; tracked revisions and changes.
  • When needed hired on and managed additional crew members to adapt to changing scope of projects.
  • Scheduled and conducted meetings with clients and crew to discuss project needs and goals in order to better manage production workflow.   

Production Assistant - Transformers 3                                                                                  July – Sept. 2010

  • Secured filming locations and performed general escort duties on to and off set for Main and Areal Units.
  • Kept lockdowns packed with on lookers safe and in place during shots involving car chases, stunts, explosions and aerial photography.
  • Maintained a calm head and pleasant demeanor with coworkers and the general public under stressful conditions.
