A while back the Popcorn Sundae crew and I had the opportunity to work for Allied Artists Music Group creating 2d animated segments for Rocky Kramer's latest music video. Now that the video is out and we can officially talk about it I've created a little video showing our animation, compositing, and VFX process for it.

I was lucky enough to have the opportunity to work with Allied Artists Music Group creating animated segments for Rocky Kramer's "Rock Star" music video. I had a lot of fun creating the “Who Framed Roger Rabbit?”/ “Space Jam” blend of animation and live-action. The video is out now on YouTube!
Directed by Del Harvey, Character Design by Carlos Douglas Jr., Key Animation/ Animation/ Compositing by ME ^_^, Animation/ Clean-up & Color by Pltnm06Ghost. In a weird twist of fate, I've been offered a contract as 2d Character Animator at SmashBits Animation House AND a Full-Time teaching contract at Flo Valley. When it rains, it pours I guess! Huge thanks to Ron Fleischer, Del Harvey, and Randy Field for all your advice and encouragement on my animation reel. Another huge thanks to Paul A. Huddleston, Michael Quintero, and Bob Langnas for writing those wonderful letters of recommendation and to Janice Nesser and Julia Jenner for fighting so hard to make the FT Graphics position happen in the first place! I just updated my character animation reel for 2019! https://youtu.be/BBZbVuXCGSY As always, feedback is greatly appreciated. Also, if you know anyone who needs an animator please do let me know. My last job just wrapped and I'm eager to get started on another!
The sci-fi short I did animation and VFX for just came out! Yay! |
