Finally getting back to doing the tutorial thing! ^_^

In today’s video, I’ll cover the basics of doing pixel animation in Clip Studio Paint. Sorry, this one’s coming out a bit later than I’d like. I’m training for my Quality Matters cert (it’s for teaching college online.) I just completed the first two classes, yay! …At the expense of getting my tutorial done on time, boo. -_-0 Better late than never, I suppose.
If you're making your own pixel art or animation I'd love to see it! Please let me know where to find your work. I’m still trying to decide what my next tutorial series will be after this one so if you have any ideas please leave a comment and let me know what you’d like to learn next. My current project: http://PopcornSundae.com https://twitter.com/popcorn_sundae Had a great time at the Global Game Jam this past weekend. We made a video game in less than 48 hours! This is just a quick gameplay mock-up. You can download and play the full game here https://globalgamejam.org/2019/games/hannahs-home.

Well, this year I got a two-in-one Birthday treat: taking my students to the Global Game Jam at UMSL! My students split up across a couple teams and I joined my friends, Caitlin Moriarty and Jen Patton on another team. We spent the weekend attempting to build a working video game prototype. Spending the whole weekend hanging out and doing something creative was a lot of fun, it's been waaaay too long since I've done something like that. We didn't get it finished but I did get a chance to do character designs and animation for a nice little trailer to the game. Big thanks to Caitlin for writing the script and Jan for PM-ing, background art, and editing the trailer. The trailer Game play mock-up. Basically, it's a simple avoidance game where you jump from one Cosmic Wave to another trying to avoid the Space Jellies. If they hit you they glom on to the ship slowing it down until, eventually it gets completely stuck.
