The Popcorn Sundae team and I have been really busy working on the show. Lots of concept art up on our site now. http://www.popcornsundae.com/production-blog
Momentum continues to build! Tommy just finished some new concept art for Amy and Pltnm06Ghost has been busily boarding Episode 2. For my part, I've been working on animation and setting up our social media so we have a YouTube channel https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC5k7XLDT8KRQ-J12TVkRVug, Twitter, Tumblr, etc. now.
You can find all the concept art and video of Ghost's storyboarding process on our Production Blog. More to come very soon!
As many of you know, I was working on a secret video game project a couple months ago that I couldn't say anything about. Thankfully, Scott Cawthon just released the game today so I can break my silence. Everyone, download and play "Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria Simulator" right now! It's free and features art by yours truly. ^_^
This week I did brand identity for a lawn care company. I designed a logo, business card, letterhead, etc. I did two versions, this is the more whimsical one. I wanted it to have a bit of a retro feel without looking dated.
This one is a bit more traditional. I swore I'd avoid photos of grass but the client really wanted one. Oh well, at least it's a nice photo of grass. (Photo is creative commons licensed for reuse w/o modification. I know better than to steal people's sparkly grass photos. ^_^)
My students always inspire me! This is the show card I made to advertise this year's Animation Showcase at STLCC - Florissant Valley. I wanted to give a nod to my students' soon-to-be-published graphic novel, "Galactic Axolotls", and my Animation Tech. 2D class's very ambitious stop-motion project, "My Past".
I took one of the main characters from "Galactic Axolotls" (character designed by Megan O'Loughlin) and rendered him in the style of "My Past" (Animated by Ca'jion Starr, Tommy Benoist, and Karolyn Zheng). This is the end result. It was really fun incorporating their very different styles and ideas into an illustration.
I've been asked to design a logo for the art event Drawing FergUSon Together: A Vision of Peace. These are some of my initial ideas. To find out more about the event check them out on facebook: https://www.facebook.com/events/1581674195431973/
